The withdrawal of Nadal from the Miami Masters semi final Friday has been a disappointment for Nadal fans as they were expecting him to see a duel between Nadal and Djokovic - but his knee injury is continuously haunting his fitness state, that forced him out of the semi finals. This gives a free hand to Murray to move into the finals of the Miami Masters.
Nadal too knew the disappointment of his fans when said:
"So sorry for my fans, those here at Miami and those around the world - my knee won't let me play today."
On the other hand Djokovic also sails into the final after beating stubborn 21st seeded Monaco in an interesting showdown 6-0, 7-6. It was a big surprise to see Monaco recoiling after a straight set loss to a high pitched recoil in the second set and gave World Number One a very tough stand before losing 6-7.

Smiling yet calculating each other's fitness and form for showdown on Sunday: Murray (L) - Djokovic (R) |
Murray has been luck this year at Miami as he has got two walk overs - something which is very unusual in high pitched tournaments. He earlier got a walkover when Canadian Milos Raonic surrendered before the match in the third round match due to an ankle injury. For the British Number One, this will be his third final of 2012 when he faces Djokovic Sunday.
As for the defending champion Djokovic, he is in his fourth Miami final and chasing a third title. But this final on Sunday will remind him of his final match against Murray in 2009, when he lost 6-2, 7-5 to Murray. The final will be Djokovic's first since winning the Australian Open for his fifth Grand Slam title and third in a row.
And one last thing: who is the hot favourite? Well I think this time this is just unpredictable and hard to speculate. Both are in form and their best so far. As for their head-t-head track record, Djokovic and Murray have faced each other twelve times, with the Serb taking a lead of 7:5. This makes an prediction unpredictable.
So let us watch the match Sunday 1 April at 16:30 GMT and keep our fingers crossed till the match finishes as I think it is going to be a hard hitting match till the end. Won't you say that?
