Both players have only once met before at French Open 2011 when Li beat Cirstea in simple straight sets of 6-2, 6-2.

Although Na Li seems determined to defend her title this year too, she is being threatend by Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova who are also all set to be crowned at Roland Garros.

Li has lsot three of her ten last matches on clay against A. Radwanska at Stuttgart, Azarenka at Madrid and lately against world no.2 Maria Sharapova at Rome 4-6 6-4 7-6(5).

Sorana Cirstea has lost four of her matches, all on clay, this year, last being at Rome against P. Kvitova.

Li should not have any problem over powering the Romanian Monday morning.
