Recently crowned Wimbledon champion and world no.4 American Serena Williams has reached the final of Stanford Classic tennis tournament after she beat Sorana Cirstea 6-1 6-2 on Saturday.

Serena now plays against fellow American Coco Vandeweghe after she beat Yanina Wickmayer 6-2 3-6 6-2. This is Vandeweghe's first WTA final.
This is also the first time that both americans are playing each other in their career.
Serena is on a winning spree lately as she has won all of her last ten matches in a series, including the Wimbledon title. On the other hand, 20 years old 6' 1" tall Vandeweghe has won only four of her last ten matches in succession.
Serena is hot favourite for the final tonight, needless to say.
