In the ongoing WTA Tokyo, seventh ranked Italian Sara Errani meets 18th ranked Russian Nadezda Petrova in the quarterfinals, Thursday morning today.
Both ladies have just once in their career at the Australian Open earlier this year when Erani betat Petrova in the second round6-2, 6-2.
Errani has lost only two of her last ten matches, losing to Kvitova in WTA New Haven and Sarena William in the US Open recently. Petrova has been beaten three times in her last ten matches at Cincinnati, US Open and Seoul lately.
The quarterfinal match is scheduled for Thursday morning at 03:30 GMT.
