Samantha Stosur, world no.9 and the top seed Austrian plays against former world no.1 and presently world no. 11 Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark Sunday morning at Moscow.
Stosur beat former world no.1 and former French Open queen Ana Ivanovic in the semi final played Saturday after losing her first set 2-6, then regaining and simply ousting the otherwise hot favourite Ivanovic 6-3, 6-2.
This morning will be Stosur's first WTA final of the year. She last won a final at the US Open in 2011 and will be really craving for winning the Kremlin Cup to have at least one final this year.
Stosur leads Wozniacki in their head-to-head, 3-2, having beaten Wozniacki at Doha in their last encounter in 2010.
Caroline Wozniacki beat Swede S. Arvidsson 6-3, 6(4)-7(7) and 6-4 in the semi final yesterday to play against Stosur.
Seeing the fitness and aggressiveness of the two players, although Stosur hs an upper edge over Wozniacki, but the result is hard to predict for today.
