However, in their last match at French Open earlier this year, Fernando Verdasco beat Monaco 6-2 7-5 4-6 6-4 in the first round match.

Of the last ten matches played by both players, Monaco has lost four matches, the latest being at ATP Tokyo recently, while Verdasco has lost five matches. Verdasco lost to S Querrey in Beijing Open recently.
