The table top Manchester United with 65 meet the rock bottom Queens Park Rangers with mere 17 points Saturday afternoon today at Loftus Road.
Sir Alex Ferguson wants to open a 15-point gap at the top before rivals Man City, presently with 53 points, play on Sunday.
Rangers last won against the Red Devils at Loftus Road was in May 1989, while their last win elsewhere was in 1992 at Old Trafford.
As for the injuries, Ranger's France forward Loic Remy is a doubt for the game, who is suffering with with groin injury. Junior Hoilett (hamstring) and Samba Diakite (international duty) are available again, while manager Harry Redknapp is hoping to get more than 45 minutes from Bobby Zamora as the forward manages a long-standing hip injury.
As for the Devils, Wayne Rooney is set to miss out. Rooney sat out Monday's FA Cup win over Reading with a sinus problem and although he has now returned to training, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson does not expect the striker to have fully recovered for the Loftus Road encounter. Phil Jones (ankle) and Paul Scholes (knee) are also sidelined although Ferguson will still make changes, with Robin van Persie amongst those likely to be recalled.
