Nadal captures Rio and his 62nd Title

Nadal has shown his form yet again at Rio Open - winning his 62nd victory.

Sunday night, world no.1 beat Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-3, 7-6(3) to win the Rio title.

It may be added that Nadal remains undefeated on Brazilian soil so far. He also won titles in Costa do Sauipe in 2005 (d. A. Martin) and in Sao Paulo last year (d. Nalbandian).

However for Brazilians this final was an honour as it was the first time a World No. 1 had played in Brazil since 2001, when home favourite Gustavo Kuerten competed in Costa do Sauipe.
