The second match of the Group D of the Euro 2012 is being played between hosts Ukraine and Sweden on Monday, 11 June 2012 at Kyiv. The match between Ukraine and Sweden will conclude the first round of group-stage matches at Euro 2012.
Ukraine, though have a world ranking of 52, is quite optimistic about their duel wit Sweden Monday eveing, specially when they have a support of home crowd.
Ukraine has undergone a nightmare, when their camp was infected by food poising which could not make their best players avaialable for the best XI in friendlies. May for this reason they lost to Turkey and Austraia. With this handicap, the Ukraineian side would enter the field to face the Swedes.
Sweden has played both Ukraine and England in friendlies during the last few months. They defeated the Ukraine, and will likely do so again Monday today eveing.
Although, France and England are dominant teams of the Group-D, both Ukraine and Sweden will be trying to make a dent wherever they could.
