Djokovic and Nadal with the trophies
While Nadal could still get this honour another time, Djokovic will have to start afresh to bag all four Grand Slams - an uphill task and one year from hence.

Now the clay master must prepare himself for the green grass of Wimbledon which is the next Grand Slam, where Djokovic is the defending champion. But for Nadal, switching from red clay to green grass will be an uphill task as he feels much at home on the red clay.

Would Djokovic take his revenge at Wimbledon?

Djokovic prevails upon Murray to retains Miami title

Djokovic retains Miami title
While many speculated that two walk over to Murray in Miami were good omen for Murray to win the Miami Masters / Sony Ericsson Tennis tournament, the defending champion proved all speculations wrong last evening when he beat Britain's Number One and World Number Four Andy Murray in straight sets to retain the Miami title.

The first set was a an easy win 6-1 for the world Number One and the defending champion. However, itwas the second set, in which Murray offered stiff resistance to take the game to tie breaker. However, the Serb never wanted Murray to overpower him as he did in Dubai earlier this year. The Serb thus kept his cool and grip over the match and the game by winning the second set too 7-6.

The win makes him the third player to have won the Miami title thrice. Previous Andre Agassi holds a record six wins, while Pete Sampras has won the title thrice.

Sunday's classic performance by the Serb means that he is in just the right form to ease into the events that are to take place from now on. This is Djokovic's first victory since the Australian Open and serves him as a much needed boost for many Grand Slams that await him later this year - the French Open to start with.

In the meantime, Murray may have to learn more to be in form from his new coach Ivan Lendl.
