The hosts DC United have to overcome the two-goal deficit in order to stave of elimination - and with home crowd at the back, many expect United to do the wonders today. But the Houston Dynamo is no ordinary team and may not allow the United dreams to be materialize.

It may be added that in the entire history of two-legged series in the MLS Cup playoffs, only eight teams have ever entered the second leg trailing by at least two goals. Only two of them managed to come back, but the last time was in 2004 when the Kansas City Wizards turned around a 2-0 loss to beat the San Jose Earthquakes 3-2 on aggregate.
