WWE Owner Vince McMahon rumoured to buy Newcastle United FC

Who is not familiar with tall Mr McMahon - the owner of WWE who walks into the arena with his peculiar gait and style. He has really turned the World Wrestling Entertainment a real entertainment show by artfully crafting story-based wrestling events.

Now he is expanding his 'muscles' beyind WWE and eyeing the Newcastle United FC - and planning to buy it.

Newcastle United Football Club owner Mike Ashley has been trying to sell the club for some time , and McMahon is showing interest - though has not made an official offer as yet.

According Winner Sports , McMahon - currently valued at 1,100 billion dollars - has " expressed initial interest " in taking over the club." He sees England as an untapped market for wrestling empire ," said a source from Newcastle United. "

This latest rumour started online in the UK with sports website Winner Sports suggesting that billionaire McMahon is interested in buying NUFC to help him raise the profile of WWE in the UK.

We will know in time whether Mr McMahon is really serious or cooking up another story - just like he does for WWE every now and then.
