When the two met in the WTA e-Books Open in Copenhagen earlier this month, the ranked 14th the German Angelique Kerber defeated 6th ranked Caroline 6-4 6-4 to end the Dane supremacy in her home tournament. Losing ghe event, caroline had made a philosophical statement:

But speculators are in favour of Caroline who has a 71.19% with 84 victories and 34 defeats on clay as opposed to Kerber's 44.94% with 40 victories and 49 defeats.
