So finally World Number Two Spaniard Nadal jumps into the arena Wednesday today when he meets the 54th ranked Russian Nikolay Davydenko Wednesday afternoon today.

The previous head to head record of both Nadal and Davydenko is very interesting as the latter has won six out of the ten matches played against each other, including last four encounters.
Last time they met on clay was at Barcelona three years back when Nadal beat Davydenko in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
Nadal after his continued winning spree is in good form, as he has won all of his ten last matches played and should not find much difficulty in overpowering the Russian, who otherwise has a good winning edge over Nadal in previous matches, but has lost five of the ten matches he played.
