From today on, a unique championship commences at Istanbul, Turkey where top eight female elite of the tennis world get together to play singles tournament.
Radwanska vs Kvitova
In the first match today, 4th ranked Polish Agnieszka Radwanska takes on 5th ranked left handed Czech Petra Kvitova.
Both ladies have played against each other only thrice since they first played at Linz in 2009. On all three occasions, Agnieszka Radwanska lost to the Czech. Kvitova beat Radwanska 7-6(4), 6-3 when they last played here at Istanbul last year.
The fitness state of both players is almost alike as they have won seven out of ten last matches played recently. Radwanska lost to Na Li in Beijing, while Kvitova lost to Suarez too at Beijing.
