The fourth match of the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships - Istanbul based on the round robin concept is being played between the Wimbledon and US Open queen and world no.2 American Serena Williams and 7th ranked Chinese Na Li Wednesday afternoon today.
Serena, who won her first match of the Istanbul yesterday against German Anelique Kerber 6-4, 61, has played against Li seven times before today's encounter. They both first played against each other in Australian Open 2006 and Serena has since won ive out of these seven encounters.
It is interesting to note that of the last ten matches played by Serena, she only lost one match and that too against Kerber at Cincinnati this year - thus her victory over Kerber avenges her defeat.
For today's match Serena is a favourite over Li.
