Like Andy Murray, though he followed suit of the Serbian, world no.2 Novak Djokovic too eased out himself from the Paris Masters right in his first match to keep his energies and steam intact to play and attempt to win the seasons' ending AT World Tours Final starting 5th November today.
Both Djokovic and Tsonga have faced each other fourteen times so far since they first met at Australian Open in 2008 and Djokovic has won eight times. They last met in the Beijing final this year when Djokovic won over the French 7-6(4) 6-2 to lift the Beijing trophy.
In the last ten games, Djokovic has 'lost' only once at Paris Masters recently, while Tsonga has lost four matches, the last at Paris Masters at the hands of David Ferrer, who went on to win the Paris Masters last night.
The match is scheduled for Monday, 5 November 2012 at 19:45 GMT.
