The Dubai Duty Free shop Tennis championship enters the semis phase with two leading contenders world nos 1 and 2 Djokovic and Federer racing to meet in the finals.
Of the two semis being played Friday today, world no.2 Swiss Roger Federer meets 6th ranked Czech Tomas Berdych today afternoon at Dubai.
Federer first met Berdych in 2004 ATP Athens and has since played sixteen matches agaisnt the Czech. Of these sixteen encounters, Federer has won 12, while Berdych overpowered Federer four times.
In their last match against each other at US Open 2012, Berdych beat Federer in the quarter finals 7-6(1) 6-4 3-6 6-3. Thus it may be difficult to predict really whether Federer makes it to the final or not.
The match is scheduled at 15:00 GMT Tuesday, 1 March at Dubai.
