So the last semifinal decider is decided on penalties just
minutes from now in the match played between Holland and Costa Rica.
The match remained goalless in the two halves of 45 minutes
and even in extra time there was no goal either. And this took the match to be
decided on penalties and finally the Dutch prevailed upon their South American
opponent Costa Rica and won the match 4-3 on penalties.
Holland now moves into the
semis stage where Brazil, Germany and Argentina have already qualified. The semis
will be played on 9-10 July that will be played between Brazil-Germany and
Holland-Argentina – that is two South American teams and two European teams.
Who takes the trophy – it is just matter of days to find out!!
