One would not believe it but it happened Saturday when Kansas City Chiefs linebacker 25 years old Jovan Belcher committed suicide outside the club's Arrowhead Stadium home minutes after shooting and killing his girlfriend.

Belcher shot his girlfriend, 22-year-old Kasandra Perkins at their Kansas City home before driving to the Chiefs' training facility and turning a gun on himself. Perkins was taken to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds but was declared dead a short time later.
The dead left behind their three months old daughter to mourn
As per Police, Belcher had been seen in conversation with Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli and coach Romeo Crennel in the moments before he shot himself, during which time he reportedly thanked them for their support during his career.
