While the ladies singles final was won by Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark beating aspirant Stosut from Australia, Andreas Seppi from Italy beat Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci (4) to win the men's single title of the ATP Moscow.
Having lost he first set to the Brazilian 3-6, Seppi came back to game and overpowered Bellucci who had still enough resilience left in him, winning the set 7-6(3). The third set was then just a formality as the Brazilian could not offer much resistance and lost the third set 3-6, paving way for Seppi to lift the Kremlin Cup.

Final result: Seppi defeated Bellucci 3-6, 7(7) -6(3), 6-3.

Wozniacki wins Kremlin Cup beating Stosur
Wozniacki has done it!!
11th ranked Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark won over 9th ranked, top seeded Austrian Samantha Stosur to win the WTA Moscow / Kremlin Cup 2012 in the final that finished just now.
Having won the first set 6-2, she lost the second to Stosur 4-6. But the third set was action packed and full of resilience from Caroline Wozniacki.
In the third set at 3-2 Stosur serving, she gave away her game for naught and lost her edge over Wozniacki, bringing the score 3-3. Wozniacki then won the next game giving only one point to Stosur. Stosur then went on to win her serve from 30-30 to equalize the third set 4-4. But Wozniacki wasn't giving in easily as after two deuces she won back her serve to take the score to 5-4 in her favour, third set. Stosur again won her serve to equalize the third set at 5-5. But Wozniacki was in no mood to give in and won her serve to take the score 6-5 in her favour. But it was the next game that Wozniacki broke through Stosur's serve and won it 7-5 to win the Kremlin Cup 2012.

Samantha Stosur, world no.9 and the top seed Austrian plays against former world no.1 and presently world no. 11 Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark Sunday morning at Moscow.
Stosur beat former world no.1 and former French Open queen Ana Ivanovic in the semi final played Saturday after losing her first set 2-6, then regaining and simply ousting the otherwise hot favourite Ivanovic 6-3, 6-2.
This morning will be Stosur's first WTA final of the year. She last won a final at the US Open in 2011 and will be really craving for winning the Kremlin Cup to have at least one final this year.
Stosur leads Wozniacki in their head-to-head, 3-2, having beaten Wozniacki at Doha in their last encounter in 2010.
Caroline Wozniacki beat Swede S. Arvidsson 6-3, 6(4)-7(7) and 6-4 in the semi final yesterday to play against Stosur.
Seeing the fitness and aggressiveness of the two players, although Stosur hs an upper edge over Wozniacki, but the result is hard to predict for today.

Stosur and Wozniacki reach Kremlin Cup Final
World no.9 and top seed Austrian Samantha Stosur and 11th ranked Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark reached the finals of Kremlin Cup after beating their opponents in the two semi finals played Saturday today at Moscow.
In the first semi final, Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark also had her second lost to Swede S. Arvidsson 6(4)-7(7), after winning the first set 6-3. She finally won the semi by winning the thrid set 6-4.
Stosur playing against former world no.1 ana Ivanovic lost her first set 2-6. But then gathered herself and won the nest two sets much too easily 6-3, 6-2.
Both would now meet Sunday in the Kremlin Cup decider.
