The 2012 Lingerie Football League Season Cancelled

Bad and sad news for the Lingerie Football lovers: The 2012 season has been cancelled, and play will resume in April of 2013.

During the year hiatus, the league will focus on expanding to Canada and other international locations. There may even be games in Canada this year.

That means that teams in the United States have until April of 2013 to get ready to match up against the three-time world champion Los Angeles Temptation. The response has been split in regards to the league taking a hiatus in the US for 2012.

Lingerie Football League final: Los Angeles Temptation beat Philadelphia Passion

Set up as a politically-incorrect alternative to the Super Bowl half-time show, it isn't hard to see why the Lingerie Bowl attracted a significant audience.

While an estimated 100million sports fans watched the Super Bowl yesterday, Los Angeles Temptation competed against Philadelphia Passion in the risque Lingerie Football League (LFL) final in Las Vegas.

Wearing only helmets, sports bras, knickers, garters, and shoulder, knee and elbow pads, the scantily-clad women battled it out in the Orleans Arena.
