Djokovic vs Rosol - Watch Free Live Streaming | Miami Masters 2nd Round - 23 March

World no. 1 and the defending champion Serbian Novak Djokovic plays his second round match against 64th ranked Czech Lukas Rosol in the Sony Open Tennis Miami Saturday morning.

In the absence of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, the Miami Masters this year will look un-competitive and will pave way for Djokovic to easily defend his title for the fourth time (third time in a row).

Like Djokovic, Serena Williams Williams is also in a run to make history to win the Miami Masters title for the record sixth time. She already shares 5 time wins with Stefi Graff.

Novak Djokovic is looking to bounce back at the ATP Miami Masters after his 22-match win streak was ended last week at Indian Wells.

As for Djokovic-Rosol match, it may be added that it was Rosol who stunned Nadal at Wimbledon last year. Would he be able to dare Djokovic too?

The match today is scheduled for Saturday 23rd March 2013 | 02:00 GMT

100th ranked Czech Lukas Rosol ousts Nadal from Wimbledon Race

The biggest setback of the ongoing Wimbledon tournament came Thursday night when the seven times Roland Garros winner world no.2 Rafael Nadal lost to 100th ranked Czech Lukas Rosol in the second round of the tournament.

It seemed that the Czech had his batteries fully charged. While Nadal did rob him of the first and fourth set, the Czech had his goalposts clearly marked - to oust the Spaniard from Wimbledon.

Having lost the firts and fourth set 6-7(9) and 2-6, he won the second, third and fifth sets seemingly with much ease and won the match 6-7(9) 6-4 6-4 2-6 6-4.

Nadal must be awe stricken over his defeat at the hands of a 100th ranked player - perhaps green grass is not homely for the clay master. Nadal who was looking forward to the finals, must be under great shock for having been ousted in just the second round.

There has been no other set back Thursday as almost everyone who mattered won their second round matches:

Andy Murray (GBR) def. Ivo Karlovic (CRO) 7-5 6-7 (5) 6-2 7-6 (7)
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA) def. Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (ESP) 6-7 (3) 6-4 6-1 6-3
David Ferrer (ESP) def. [Q] Kenny De Schepper (FRA) 7-6 (1) 6-2 6-4
Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) def. Go Soeda (JPN) 6-2 6-3 1-6 6-4
Andy Roddick (USA) def. Bjorn Phau (GER) 6-3 7-6 6-3

So its good bye to Nadal from Wimbledon - but here I must quote Boris Becker who once said when losing:
“I didn’t start a war. Nobody died. I only lost a tennis match, nothing more."

Nadal vs Rosol: Watch free live streaming Wimbledon 28 June

Thursday today, there are three second round matches being played on the Centre Court, starring Serena Williams, playing the first match against Hungarian Melinda Czink, followed by Andy Murray playing against Croatian Ivo Karlovic and then Roland Garros seven time winner world no.2 Spaniard Rafael Nadal against 100th ranked Czech Lukas Rosol.

Nadal had a terrible start in the first round when much to the disgust of spectators, as he lost first four games to Brazilian Tomaz Belluci before recovering to win over him 7-6 6-2 6-3. The opening match did not show Nadal in his very best form, may be he was saving his energies for later and important matches.

Thursday today when he plays against Rosol, qualified for the main draw at Wimbledon for the first time this year, Nadal has to be mindful of any slips and loose game to have a safe and unthreatned move towards the semis.

Rafa lost Wimbledon last year and would very much want to bag his second Grand Slam this year.

Rafa has won all but one of his last ten games, losing to P. Kohlschreiber 6-3 6-4 at Halle, while Rosol has lost four, two on clay and two on grass. Rosol moved to Wimbledon second round after defeating I. Dodig 6-4 3-6 7-6(0) 7-5, with some difficulty.

For Thursday's afternoon match, Nadal is the hot favourite and his fans expect him to be till the final, for which beside the defending champion Djokovic, Swiss Roger Federer is also a strong contender to win the title for the seventh time.

The match is scheduled for Thursday, 28 June 2012 at 16:30 GMT on the Centre Court.
