World No. 1 Spaniard Rafael Nadal will play the defending champion and world no. 2-ranked Serbian Novak Djokovic for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals title on Monday night tonight at the O2 in London.
As for today's final, Nadal is the hot favourite - leading a survey wherein 91.8% voters have voted in his favour while only 8.2% have voted in Djokovic favour.
Nadal beat Roger Federer 7-5, 6-3 in a jam packed semi final while Djokovic had a 6-3, 6-3 win over Swiss debutant Stanislas Wawrinka at the ATP World Tour Finals on Sunday.
Nadal and Federer treated the O2 Arena fans to some superb exchanges early on, reminiscent of the classic matches that have punctuated their nine-year rivalry. But Nadal was much sharper on the important points, converting all four break points he earned, while Federer sometimes looked like a shadow of his old self, hitting 32 unforced errors and some poor volleys.
In the on going last major tournament of the year, the world's two highest ranked players remained unbeaten in London and have faced each other five times this season, with Nadal coming out on top three times.
Nadal leads Djokovic 22-16 in their head-to-head record, but the Serbian won their latest encounter last month in Beijing after losing his top ranking to the Spaniard. Nadal and Djokovic have met three times at the season finale – in 2007, when the event was held in Shanghai and twice in London in 2009-10.
The grand finale of the ATP World Tour Finals between Nadal and Djokovic is scheduled for 11 November, 2013 at 20:00 GMT

The big semi final of the year is being played Sunday today at the O2 Arena London between the world number one Rafael Nadal of Spain and former world number one and 17 times Grand Slam winner Roger Federer of Switzerland. The other semi final will be played between world number 2 Novak Djokovic and Wawrinka later today.
Roger Federer defeated Argentinian Juan Martin Del Potro 4-6, 7-6 (7/2), 7-5 in a sensational three set match Saturday, having lost the first set.
The 32 year old Federer is pursuing his seventh title at the season ending tour finals and faces a tough challenge against Nadal today.
Nadal leads Federer 21-10 in their FedEx ATP Head2Head series and has won their past three matches at the BNP Paribas Masters in Indian Wells, the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome and the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, all this year.
On his 32nd career meeting with Nadal on Sunday, Federer said yesterday: "I just have to have the right mindset to give it one last go, maybe play with a little less pressure than I have in previous matches maybe with him."
