Losing with honour is difficult and when one makes excuses, it makes the world of sport as controversial as politics.
This was exactly the case when Tsonga lost to Nadal in the Sony Ericsson Tennis. After Nadal won the first set 6-2, the second set was nerve breaking and Nadal lost to Tsonga 5-7. But in the third set, Nadal regained and won 6-4.
Tsonga accuses the umpire for siding with Nadal when they were 4-4 in the final set and claims that despite many calls to umpire, he was unheard.
Despite claims, Nadal moves on. But if Tsonga had any real claims, he should have walked over to the umpire and complained loud and clear. Why lament after it is all over?
