12th ranked Russian Vera Zvonareva plays her third round Wimbledon match against 47th ranked Belgian Kim Clijsters on Court No.1 Friday 29 June today afternoon.

Both ladies have met 10 times since US Open 2002 and the Belgian has had a winning edge over the Russian 7-3. They last met at Australian Open 2011 when Clijsters beat Zvonareva 6-3, 6-3 in the semis.
Zvonareva has had a tough season this year as she has lost five of her last ten matches, three on clay and two on hard courts. However, she has won both her grass court matches at Wimbledon. She beat S. Soler-Espinosa 6-1 3-6 6-1 in the second round.
Clijsters has lost three of her ten matches, two on hard court and one grass at WTA 's-Hertogenbosch at agaisnt U. Radwanska when she retired before the match.
The match is scheduled for Friday, 29 June 2012 at 15:00 GMT on Court No.1
