Juan Martin del Potro, the former US Open champion will be playing the Davis Cup semifinal against Radek Stepanek Friday afternoon today in their match between argentina and Czech Republic.
Del Potro with an injured left wrist is going in despite doctor's advice for rest.
The Czechs have won three of four head-to-head matches against Argentina in the Davis Cup. The Czechs won the Davis Cup in 1980 playing as Czechoslovakia.
