While two matches are being played under Barclays Premier League, Real Madrid are hoping for a boost from Tuesday's Copa del Rey second leg against third-tier Alcoyano at the Bernabeu.
As per eagle-eyed analysts, Real should have little problem seeing off third-tier Alcoyano at the Bernabeu, holding a 4-1 lead from the first leg of their last-32 tie.
The Liga champions had suffered a 1-0 defeat at Betis on Saturday, and are now in third place, already 11 points behind table-toppers Barcelona.
Alcoyano, who are 41 league places below their opponents in the Segunda B, will name their strongest line-up for what is arguably the biggest match in the club's recent history.
It may be added that the King's Cup last-32 second legs are spread over the week, with holders Barcelona defending a 3-0 lead at home to third-tier Alaves on Wednesday. Top-flight sides Osasuna, Levante, Real Sociedad, Rayo Vallecano and Celta Vigo all trail lower-league opposition.
The match is scheduled for Tuesday, 27 November 2012 at 20:30 GMT.
