Ronaldo will retire at Real Madrid!!

Amid growing speculations that Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward of the Real Madrid, may join Manchester United or a big -spending French club of Monaco, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has vowed that Ronaldo will never leave Real Madrid and would ultimately retire from them.

Perez said: "Ronaldo wants to retire at Real Madrid, and we want him to retire here, just like [Zinedine] Zidane and so many other great players did."

Florentino Perez added Real have not made a bid for Spurs' Gareth Bale, or received an offer from Arsenal for Gonzalo Higuain.

It may be added that Argentine striker Higuain has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners  since saying he wanted to leave the Bernabeu at the end of last season.

"We don't want Higuain to leave," he said. "What's more, no-one from Arsenal has come to us and made us any offers at all for him. There are no offers on the table."

Ronaldo Takes Real Madrid to Champions League Last Four for Record 24th Time

Ronaldo rejoices his goal over Galatasaray

It was Cristiano Ronaldo's day when Real Madrid played their Champions League quarterfinal match against Galatasaray last evening.

Although the match ended in 3-2 in favour of Galatasaray, Real Madrid made it 5-3 on aggregate to reach the last four stage for a record 24th times.

Ronaldo opened the account for Real Madrid in the 8th minutes and then rested and waited like a hungry lion to strike at the right moment.

Meanwhile Galatasaray scored three goals in the second half. Eboue struck in the 57th minute, while Sneijder and Drogba scored a goal each at a minute's interval in the 71st and 72nd minute.

And then they left the match for Ronaldo to win over. Ronaldo struck just before the final whistle in the 90th minutes as he drilled past Fernando Muslera in injury-time - almost 90 minutes after seemingly ending their hopes with the opener.

The home crowd erupted as they sensed a remarkable upset, but in truth Galatasaray failed to capitalise as Mourinho brought on Raul Albiol for midfielder Mesut Ozil to stifle the hosts.

Real Madrid knocks out Manchester United from Champions League

Yesterday was a big day for the Real Madrid as they knocked out Manchester United 2-1 in a thrilling but controversial match of Champions League at the Old Trafford.

The loss ended Red Devils' Champions League ambitions  in controversial circumstances that left manager Sir Alex Ferguson and the rest of Red Devils enraged at Old Trafford.

United looked on course for a place in the quarter-finals at Real Madrid's expense after Sergio Ramos's own goal just after half-time gave them a platform to build on the 1-1 draw from the first leg at the Bernabeu.

The tie was transformed by Turkish referee Cuneyt Cakir's decision to send off Nani for an aerial challenge on Real Madrid defender Alvaro Arbeloa after 56 minutes - a red card that reduced Ferguson and his players to fury.

Jose Mourinho's side, a subdued force until then, took advantage ruthlessly with two goals in three minutes from ex-Tottenham midfield man Luka Modric and former United golden boy Cristiano Ronaldo to move into the last eight.

Mourinho now moves on towards his target of a third Champions League with three different clubs while United must concentrate on domestic matters as they close in on a 20th title with a commanding 12-point lead in the Premier League and a place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Ronaldo's two goals against Barcelona propel Real Madrid into Copa del Rey final

Tuesday night duel between Barcelona and Real Madrid was treat to watch as Real Madrid stunned the Barca with a 3-1 victory, completing a 4-2 aggregate win in the Copa del Rey semi-final second-leg in the Nou Camp.

Ronaldo sent Jose Manuel Pinto the wrong way to open the scoring from the spot

It seemed theat Lionel Messi was some where else and not in the arena as it was Cristiano Ronaldo shinning and striking. And in the match, when the absence of ex-Barca boss Pep Guardiola and his successor Tito Vilanova really started to show, Ronaldo was imperious.

He raced away on 15 minutes to draw a foul from Gerard Pique inside the area, then picked himself up and put the penalty past Manuel Pinto to become the first player ever to score in six  consecutive away Clasicos.

In the second half, with stunned Barcelona chasing the game, Angel Di Maria sped past Carles Puyol in another lightning counter attack and when the ball fell to to Ronaldo, the former Manchester United striker scored again — the first player to score doubles in consecutive Clasicos away from home.

In contrast, Messi, who went into the game looking for his 50th goal of the season, cut a  forlorn figure as Barcelona repeated the same starting 10 outfield players as they had against AC Milan and delivered a similarly lacklustre performance.

The third and final goal came for the 19 years old Varane, which was a carbon copy of his first-leg equaliser — brought the most emotional of responses from Mourinho, who embraced the centre back on the touchline and was in turn mobbed by most of his players as Madrid celebrated a home humiliation for Barcelona.

As for Messi, he was high and dry and could not complete his 50th goal of the season. It was Jordi Alba who scored a late consolation goal as a face saver for the Barcas.

Real Madrid vs Valencia Watch Live Free Streaming | Copa del Rey quarterfinals: 15 January 2013

Real Madrid tonight hosts Valencia when the both play the Copa del Rey quarterfinals at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid at present are 18 points behind Barcelona and would very much like to win the quarters to get a boost. But their lackluster performance on Saturday against Osasuna in a goalless draw wasn't impressive at all.

However, their performance should improve for tonight's match as Cristiano Ronaldo and Antonio Adan are joining back from suspension for Tuesday's Copa del Rey quarterfinal first leg against Valencia at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid has won just two of its last six matches in all competitions (W2, D2, L2).AAnd if the really work hard tonight and win over the Valencia, they  will face the winner of the Barcelona-Malaga tie in the semifinal.

But would Valencia let them? They have won seven of its last eight matches across all competitions and may pose difficulties for the Real Madrid to move to the semis.

This is going to be interesting and the match is worth watching, scheduled for Tuesday, 15 January 2013 at 20:00 GMT at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo not to celebrate goals against Red Devils

Real Madrid's ace striker Cristiano Ronaldo says he will not celebrate if he scores against Manchester United.

Ronaldo with Sir Alex

Real Madrid have been tied against the Red Devils in the Round of 16 of the Champions League at the Bernabeu on 13 February and then at Old Trafford on 5 March following Thursday's draw.

Ronaldo has six years' affiliation with the Red Devils and his nostalgia will not allow celebrating his goals against his old club - something he still values and remembers:
"It is thanks to Manchester United that I play for Real Madrid. Without them, I wouldn't be the player I am today."

The recent draw takes 27 years old Ronaldo for his first visit to Old Trafford since his £80m move to Spain in June 2009.

Watch Live Real Madrid vs. Ajax Free Streaming | The UEFA Champions League: 4 December

A lot many matches are planned for the Champions League Tuesday tonight, the last of which is between the Real Madrid and Ajax in the Group D.

Today's match is very important for the Ajax. If they do not win, there presence in the Europa League may be unlikely. Their performance against Real Madrid has been very sketchy and lowly as the lost five times in their last meeting, conceding 16 goals. Now for tonight's match, they will have to go into the field with turbo chargers on as they will be playing against one of the best teams of the world.

Real Madrid has bagged 8 points in the last five matches (2W, 2D, 1L) and have a guaranteed second place in the Group D. They should find any difficulty in subduing the Ajax - unless Ajax have a motivation level that can be heard and taped by NASA's rover Discovery on the Mars.

The match is scheduled for Tuesday 4, December 2012 at 19:45 GMT.

Real Madrid vs Fenerbahce Ulker: Watch Live Free Streaming | Basketball - Euroleague 30 November

Real Madrid meet visitors Fenerbahce Ulker from Turkey Friday evening 30 November today in the Spanish capital Madrid.

The duel is being considered a big one in the Group A. Madrid leads Group A at 5-2 and advances to the Top 16 with a win, regardless of other scores. It can also make it to the next round with a loss if both Panathinaikos Athens and BC Khimki Moscow Region win their games.

If that happens, Fenerbahce will also reach the Top 16. Fenerbahce is 4-2 but lost to Madrid by 8 points at home, so would have to win by at least that much to pass the hosts in a tie situation.

Madrid needs to play its trademark run-and-gun game, get Fernandez and Mirotic involved, deny Batiste one-on-one options in the paint and lock the defensive board to get easy points in transition. Fenerbahce needs a solid game from Andersen and Batiste, run its offense through McCalebb and generate one-on-one opportunities from him. Expect an outstanding game in the Spanish capital, as both teams have chances to seal a Top 16 spot on Friday night.

The officials for the match are:
Referee: MAESTRE, NICOLA, France
Umpire: VOJINOVIC, MILIJA, Serbia

The Friday Night SmackDown is scheduled  Friday, 30 November 2012, that is tonight, at 19:45 GMT

Real Madrid vs Alcoyano Watch Live Free Streaming | Spain - Copa del Rey: 27 November

While two matches are being played under Barclays Premier League, Real Madrid are hoping for a boost from Tuesday's Copa del Rey second leg against third-tier Alcoyano at the Bernabeu.

As per eagle-eyed analysts, Real should have little problem seeing off third-tier Alcoyano at the Bernabeu, holding a 4-1 lead from the first leg of their last-32 tie.

The Liga champions had suffered a 1-0 defeat at Betis on Saturday, and are now in third place, already 11 points behind table-toppers Barcelona.

Alcoyano, who are 41 league places below their opponents in the Segunda B, will name their strongest line-up for what is arguably the biggest match in the club's recent history.

It may be added that the King's Cup last-32 second legs are spread over the week, with holders Barcelona defending a 3-0 lead at home to third-tier Alaves on Wednesday. Top-flight sides Osasuna, Levante, Real Sociedad, Rayo Vallecano and Celta Vigo all trail lower-league opposition.

The match is scheduled for Tuesday, 27 November 2012 at 20:30 GMT.

Watch Live Union Olimpija vs Real Madrid free Live Streaming | Turkish Airlines Euroleague Basketball - 9 November 2012

Union Olimpija Ljubljana plays against Real Madrid at Stozice Arena in the on going Turkish Airlines basketball Euroleague.

Olimpija is tied for fifth in Group A with a 1-3 mark, while Madrid sits atop with a 3-1 record so far.

Madrid’s position at the top of the group is attributed to the all-round talent at Coach Pablo Laso’s disposal, and that was never more evident than last week when five players broke into double-digits in points against Mapooro Cantu.

Olimpija will require another big game from Baynes, and will rely on him consistently putting up points to keep up with Madrid’s intention of pulling ahead early. Begic and Page will have a tough time with the Reyes-Slaughter combination and will need to contain the duo, but the game is likely to be won by whoever can get their guards performing best.

Sergio Llull of Real needs 4 more three-pointers to reach 100 for his Euroleague career.
