World no. 1 American Serena Williams in her race to win the Miami Masters' title for the record sicxth time, meets 5th ranked Chinese Na Li in the quarters of the Miami Masters tennis Tuesday afternoon today.
Earlier, S. Williams won the 4th round match against D. Cibulkova 2 : 1 (2 : 6) (6 : 4) (6 : 2).
Serena and Li have met eight times before today's encounter. They first met at Australian Open in the first round in 2006 and their last match against each other was at WTA Istanbul 2012 which Serena won in the Robin phase. Of the previous eight encounters, Serena has an upper edge over Li 6-2.
