World no.4 Roger Federer knocked out world no.2 Novak
Djokovic in the semis of the Monte Carlo Masters to set up an all-Swiss date
with fellow countryman world no.3 Stanislas Wawrinka Sunday afternoon today.
Federer at 32 is showing strong signs of a comeback as he
knocked out world no.2 Novak Djokovic, six years younger to him, in the semis
of Monte Carlo on Saturday in straight sets 7-5, 6-2.
Ironically in an all-Spanish quarter final, Roger Ferrer who
beat world no.1 Nadal lost the race for the final when world no.3 Stanislas
Wawrinka ousted him out of Monte Carlo in the semis.
So do not forget to watch this sensational Monte Carlo
All-Swiss final this Easter Sunday today. It would be interesting to watch
world nos 3 and 4 from Switzerland battling to outscore each other to win the
Monte Carlo final. Roger Federer is chasing his eighth ATP World Tour
Masters 1000 title and 22nd overall.
The Monte Carlo final is scheduled for Sunday 20 April at 13:30 GMT.
