Manchester United meet the reigning Romanian champions CFR Cluj in the group stage matches of Group H Wednesday today evening at the Old Trafford.
Sir Alex Ferguson, the Red Devils' manager is quite upset with the defence of his team and is certainly demanding an improved defense from his team to keep up their name and not to me mowed down at Old Trafford by the CFR.
"[The defending at the weekend] was like a Cartoon Cavalcade. We're getting punished when balls go into the box, but we should be defending far better. Reading did produce some fantastic balls into the box, but we should be expecting better."
It may be recalled that 19th ranked Reading on Saturday almost thrashed the Red Devils when the fianlly lost 3-4. But no one could expect a very low average team to show their teeth to a team sitting at the top of the world.
Therefore, after a thrashing form the Royals, Sir Alex's concerns are genuine and he would not like a repition of the same when they meet CFR at the Old Trafford today. While it was expected that the Red Devil captain Vidic may return to his team, but the news is that he has not recovered enough from his knee injury and will be missing this evening.
Like the Royals, Paulo Sérgio wants his CFR 1907 Cluj side to seize the chance of an "amazing achievement", specially when they are unbeaten away from home in Europe this term over four games, having won three and drawn once.
