While some of the major top stars have won their first round matches on the first day of Australian Open, some matches are still to be played.
Ana met Czink at Canberra in 2005 for the first time and has since played four matches against the Hungarian with a winning edge of 3-1. The last time when the both ladies met was the second round of Cincinnati in 2009 which was won over by Czink 7-6(6) 7-5.
AS of now, the Hungarian is in a pretty bad form of fitness as she has lost NINE out of her last tren matches she played. She recently lost to M. Keys 6-2 6-2 at Sydney.
Ivanovic has also not fared good so far, as she has lost four of her last ten matches. Her last match was against A. Medina Garrigues at Hopman Cup, which Median won 6-4 6-7(3) 6-2.
Although Ivanovic is likely to win the match, nothing be said with much certainty.
The first round of Australian Open Match between Ivanovic and Czink is scheduled for Monday, 14 January 2013 at 10:30 GMT on the Rod Laver Arena.
