Aisam ul Haq Qureshi of Pakistan, who paired with his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna won the men's double event of the Paris Masters last year, now eyes the same trophy paired with his new Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer.
The seventh seed Pakistan-Dutch pair play their match against the top French duo Feliciano Lopez and Nenad Zimonjic who beat Michael Llodra and Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-4, 4-6, 11-9 in the first round of the BNP Paribas Masters on Tuesday in Paris.
Aisam ul Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer won their last men's double final at Halle, Germany in June this year, beating the Philistine/US pair Treat Conard and Scott Lipsky 6-3, 6-4. They are also looking to claim one of the final two berths to the season finale in London.
The match between the Pakistan-Dutch and the French duo is scheduled for Thursday, 1 November 2012 at 11:00 GMT.
