The European Aquatics Championships is organized by the Ligue Européenne de Natation or simply LEN, the governing body for aquatics in Europe. However since 1999, four more disciplines have also been added to the championship which includes: swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and open water swimming.
For the year 2012, the championship is being held from 15-27 May both at Hungary (Debrecen) and Netherlands (Eindhoven).
