Chelsea managed to keep Bayern at bay until the 83rd minute when Thomas Muller netted, but powerful striker Diddier Drogba scored a thumping header to send the game into extra-time. Bayern’s Arjen Robben then had a spot-kick saved by Petr Cech, early on in extra time before Drogba tucked away the winning penalty in the shoot-out to hand his side the trophy.
