Women Skeet Shooting Final - Olympics 2012 |Free Live Streaming - 29 July

The final of the Women Skeet shooting completion is scheduled for Sunday, 29 July 2012 at the Royal Artillery Barracks.

The Royal Artillery Barracks provides a fitting location for Shooting at the London 2012 Games, with a heritage dating back to 1716 when a Royal Warrant authorized the formation of two artillery companies.

From the qualifier round held on Day-1, six skeet shooters have moved to the final today.

Presently the Olympic record set at Beijing Olympics 2008 is shared by three countries: Italy 93 (72+21), USA 93 (72+23) and Germany 93 (72+23)with a minute difference in final score.

The women skeet shooting final is scheduled at 13:00 GMT at the Royal Artillery Barracks, Sunday 29 July 2012.

Pakistan’s skeet star aims to create Olympics history

Pakistan’s skeet shooting star Khurram Inam, who is on the verge of creating history with his third Olympic appearance later this month, is focusing hard to produce his best in the London Games to bring glory and honour for his country.

“It is a great honour for me to become the first Pakistan shooter to feature in the Olympics,” he said in an interview on Friday. “It is my dream to become the first Pakistan shooter to win an Olympic medal, but I am not aiming too high as I have to be realistic.

“I am looking for respectable scores and to do my best there.”

Pakistan get skeet wildcard for London

Pakistan skeet shooters got a big boost on Monday when they were awarded a wildcard entry for London Olympics shooting competition, National Rifle Association of Pakistan (NRAP) announced here.

“We have received confirmation from International Sports Shooting Federation today for the allocation of one wildcard entry for London Olympics,” Executive Vice President, NRAP Razi Ahmed Khan told APP.

“It’s good news that Pakistan will be featuring in the skeet shooting event.”He said four Pakistanis Khurram Inam, Ahmed Sultan, Amin Karamat and Abdul Sattar have achieved the Maximum Qualifying Scores (MQS) during the international competition.
