The two do not seem to have played before and it may be fun seeing the two playing - experience versus youth as Ivanovic is five years older to the Russian.
Ivanovic has had a rather troubled year as she has lost four of her last ten matches. She recently lost to Fipkens at Linz.
The Russian too has not been playing well, having five of her ten matches played recently. However, it is needless to say that Ivanovic is favourite for the matach this morning.
