World Number One Serbian Djokovic is meeting 16th seeded Alexandr Dolgopolov this morning at Monte Carlo.

The Serb this year seems determined to clinch the title from Nadal and doesn't want him to retain the title for the eighth consecutive times. And so far he is sailing smoothly towards his ultimate target.

Djokovic in his first mach against Italian A Seppi was seen at ease in overpowering his opponent 6-1, 6-4 for his 7th straight match win.

The Ukranian Alexandr Dolgopolov has met the World Number One only once in his lifetime in 2011 US Open and was simply outclassed. Known to be too orthodox, Alexandr Dolgopolov should not pose much of a problem to the Serb this time as well.

The match at the Court Central is scheduled at 11:30 GMT Thursday 19 April.
