Petra is meeting the Italian for the thrid time in her career since they last met at Madrid 2009, with Petra having a 2-1 lead over the Italian.
Left handed Kvitova has lost two of her last ten matches one on clay and one on grass. She lsot to Maria Sharapova in French Open Final recently. She beat V. Lepchenko 6-1 6-0 to move to the fourth round.
Francesca Schiavone has won seven of her last ten matches, losing one on clay (French Open) and two on grass. She beat K. Zakopalova 6-0 6-4 to move to fourth round.
The match is scheduled for Sunday, 2 July 2012 at 10:30 GMT on Court No.3
