The third Grand Slam of the year is almost at its end with the women single final being played today at the Centre Court.

Leaving out all top seeded players, it is 20 years old youngster from Canada Eugenie Bouchard who will play her first ever wimbledon final against 2011 champion left handed Czech Petra Kvitova.

This is the only second time that both palyers are facing each other. The met at Toronto in 2013 when Petra Kvitova beat Bouchard 6-3, 6-2 in the second round.

Petra Kvitova beats Lucie Safarova 7-6, 6-1 in the semis while Bouchard beats Simona Halep 7-6, 6-2 in second semi-final.

Petra Kvitova lifts Dubai Trophy

Former Wimbledon champion Sixth seeded Petra Kvitova, the Czech tennis player, beat fifth seeded Sara Errani from Italy 6-2, 1-6, 6-1 to win the Dubai Tennis Championship Sunday yesterday.

It was Petra Kvitova first WTA Tour title of the year and her biggest success in 15 months. The win also marked Kvitova's 10th WTA Tour title and first since August 2012, when she defeated Maria Kirilenko in the New Haven final.

It may be added that Kvitova has earlier recorded straight-sets victories over Errani in all three meetings between the duo last year and despite her troubles in the second set, always appeared the more likely to win in the United Arab Emirates.

Errani v Kvitova in Dubai WTA final: Watch Live Free Streaming | 23 February

World no.7 Sara and last year's Roland Garros finalist Errani had earlier qualified for the final by defeating her Grand Slam-winning doubles partner Roberta Vinci  6-3, 6-3 in an hour and 23 minute battle.

Errani moves into the final as favorite having won each of her three previous meetings against Kvitova without dropping a set. Also Errani is coming off the best season of her career in 2012, winning four singles and eight doubles titles.

The match is scheduled at 15:00 GMT Sunday, 23 February 2013.

Wimbledon day-2: Nadal and Tsonga, Kvitova, Serena and Azarenka move to Second Round

Kvitova meets Kerber in Rome: Watch Free Live Streaming

4th ranked Wimbledon champion Czech Petra Kvitova moves into the quarter finals of the WTA Italian Open, where she faces 11th ranked German Angelique Kerber Friday afternoon.

Kvitova beat Romania's Sorana Cirstea 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 as she struggled in the windy Rome in the third round. On the other hand, Angelique Kerber beat fellow German Julia Georges in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.

Kvitova has met the German only once at Stuttgart earlier this year when she beat Kerber 6-4, 6-1.

In the last ten matches played by both, Kerber lost two matches, while Kvitova lost three. Incidently, Kerber's all last ten matches were played on clay, which conditions her for Rome to take on the world no.4.
