Luiz Scolari returns to Brazil

Luiz Felipe Scolari has been appointed Brazil’s coach for the second time. The former Chelsea and Portugal manager led Brazil to their fifth and last World Cup win in 2002 against Germany in South Korea and Japan.

Scolari will replace Mano Menezes, who was dismissed because Confederation President Jose Maria Marin wasn't pleased with the past performance of the team and wanted a new approach for the upcoming big events.

As Brazil will be hosting the Fifa World Cup 2014, Scolari is confident and aiming to win the sixth title for his country. The experienced Scolari led Portugal at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championships in 2004 and 2008.
