Most of the first round matches are over and with effect from 16 January we enter into the second round of the Australian Open tennis.
The first match of the Wednesday morning of ranking player is between world no.4 Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland and 55th ranked Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania to be played on the Rod Laver Arena.
Agnieszka Radwanska, who recently lifted the Sydney trophy is in her best form for she has not lost a single match out of the ten she has played lately. She defeated B. Bobusic 7-5 6-0 in the first round of the Australian Open.
As for the Romanian Begu, she has won and lost five of her ten matches equally. Before beating A. Rus 6-4 6-2 in the first round, she had two defeats in a row at Dubai and Hobart.
Radwanska should not find much difficulty in tackling the second stage hurdle to move on to the thrid round.
The Match between Radwanska and Begu is scheduled for Wednesday, 16 January 2013 at 01:00 GMT at the Rod Laver Arena.
