The Stoke City, which faces Manchester City Saturday afternoon at the Britannia Stadium in the FA Cup football match today, have won seven and drawn two of their past nine home FA Cup matches.
Stoke reached the fourth round after overcoming Championship side Crystal Palace 4-1 in extra time of their replay tie. For today's match, Tony Pulis has refused to rule out starting Peter Crouch when Stoke City take on Manchester City at the Britannia Stadium.
As for the Citizens, they have won all four of its matches in 2013 without conceding a single goal - beating Stoke, Arsenal and Fulham in the Premier League and Watford in the FA Cup third round.
It may be added that the last five matches between these two teams at the Britannia Stadium have finished 1-1 after 90 minutes. So this sets the precedence for the match today - unless either side is ready to change the status quo.
