World no.6 Czech Tomas Berdych who showed world no.1 and the two-time champion Novak Djokovic the way out of Rome yesterday 2-6, 7-5, 6-4 has shown his resolve and form against a knee-injury stricken Serbian. It is the third Masters semifinal of the year of the 6-foot-5 Berdych.
Now he is up against fifth-seeded former No. 1 Rafael Nadal, who is on a 13-match overall winning streak and seeking a third title in three events and is all-time leader with 23 Masters titles.
Berdych thouh has shown shine and game, has recently lost four of the ten matches he played so fae, while NAdal has won all of his ten matches.
