Both Sharapova and Jankovic have met nine times in their professional career since they first met at the second round of the US Open in 2004 - and Sharapova has a 7-2 winning edge over the Serbian. They last met at Miami in the semis this year when Sharapova beat Jankovic 6-2, 6-1.
Both are former world number ones, but it's Sharapova who has four Grand Slam titles including the Roland Garros 2012.
The fourth round match of Roland Garros is scheduled for Wednesday, 5 June 2013 12:00 GMT at Court Philippe Chatrier.
