Pakistan strikes back - beat South Africa by 66 runs in 2nd ODI

When Pakistan lost to South Africa in the first of the five ODIs being played in the United Emirates on neutral venue, Many thought Pakistan just threw away a winnable match.

But today Pakistan struck back and won the second ODI against South Africa with a big margin of 66 runs in 40.4 overs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. 

Pakistan winning the toss chose to bat and scored 209 runs in 49.4 overs. Ahmed Shehzad was the highest scorer from Pakistan with 58 runs. Mclaren of South Africa claimed four Pakistanis for 34 runs.

Coming to bat, South Africa could not match the bowling of the Pakistan's batsmen and were all out for 143 with ten overs remaining. McLaren wqas the highest scorer with 29 and was not out. Pakistan's Irfan took three wickets for 53, while Shahid Afridi took three for 26. Saeed Ajmal took two for 15.

Pakistan plays its third ODI against South Africa at Abu Dhabi on 6 November.
