Group D enters Africa Cup of Nations Today

Africa Cup of Nations football tournament that got underway with effect from 19th January in South Africa, enters its 4th day today, Tuesday.

Team GB [W] beat Kiwis 1-0 in Opening Olympic Group Match

The Great Britain women's football team kicked off the 2012 Olympics with a hard-fought victory over New Zealand at a sun-soaked Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

The lone goal was scored by full-back Steph Houghton who converted a free-kick midway through the second half, much to the delight of an enthusiastic crowd of 24,549 in the Welsh capital.

The team GB team celebrated with a group huddle at the final whistle and a lap of the stadium - and they can look forward to the remainder of their Group E campaign, which continues against Cameroon on Saturday.

Group G: USA beat France 4-2                
Group E: Brazil beat Cameroon 5-0
