It has been a long time that Belgian Kim Clijsters showed up for any international tennis recently. Now the good news is that Clijsters is here and is playing against Ukranian Kateryna Bondarenko in the second round of WTA 's-Hertogenbosch or the Unicef Open at Netherlands.

Both ladies have never met before in their career and it would be the first time since Miami that Belgian Clijsters is playing after Miami. Clijsters has lost twice in the last ten matches, six at Australian Open and four at Miami, has lost twice. She lost to Azarenka in Australian Open and Y. Wickmayer at Miami. She moves to Unicef Open after beating R. Oprandi 6-7(5) 6-2 6-3 in the first round.
The 67th seeded Ukranian Kateryna Bondarenko has had a troubled 2012 so far, for having lost six of her last ten matches. She last lost to Y Chan in French Open recently. Kateryna Bondarenko beat Roland Garros finalists against Sharapova Italian Sara Errani in the first round 5-7 6-3 6-4.
The second round match between Clijsters and Bondarenko is being played at 12:30 GMT, Tuesday 19 June 2012.
