A lap error makes Hero to Zero

We all make mistakes in our lives - but if you make mistakes on the race track, you pay for it dearly.

Watch the video below and see a hero becoming zero for celebrating his victory too early - in fact a lap earlier. Riccardo Russo crossed the finish line when he was leading the Italian CIV championship. And when he crossed the finish line, he stood up from his seat with arms raised in jubilation - not realizing that the race was still on as others kept passing by.

And when the race finished he stood at 14th and not first position he had so painstakingly achieved. We  all pay for our mistakes - don't we?

12-Year Old Skateboarder Competing At The ESPN X-Games

Tom Schaar is 12 years old, and he weighs just 78lbs.
Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk describes his light weight as a disadvantage when it comes to picking up speed.  Besides that, Hawk had nothing but good things to say.
Why?
Because Schaar is executing some of the most difficult tricks in skateboarding today including the 900: two and a half full spins in mid-air.
Watch him [ video below ] nail a 900 on his first try at the X-Games Big Air competition here.  The trick is so easy for him that he nails it again on his second run.

Nadal ouster by Lukas Rosol: Video Highlights

The ouster of record seven times Ronald Garros title winner and world no.2 Spaniard Rafael Nadal by a 100th rank Lukas Rosol is nothing but shocking. While the fans were waiting for Rafa to move to the final and avenge his last year's defeat in the finals at the hands of Djokovic, the awe stricken news must have befallen on them like a thunder bolt - and also on Rafa himself.

After recovering from his injury earlier this year, Nadal has been sailing comfortably without any mishap except at Halle when he was beaten by P. Kohlschreiber 6-3 6-4.

But an ouster right in the very ewarly stage of a Grand Slam is something that was nothing but shocking and dismaying. It really hurt Rafa's fans all over the world for bowing out of the second round of the prestigeous Wimbledon.

Those who could not see the match live, herein under is a 10.10 minutes video, shared from YouTube, to watch Rosol taking aheavy toll of the Spaniard with his forceful strokes, agility and speed:

It would take time for both Rafa and his fan to overcome the shock they sustained Thursday night seeing a king falling on green grass of London.

While writing my earlier post on Nadal's ouster, I shared a meaningful quote from Boris Becker and I would like to quote here too so that both Rafa and his fans take a solace from it:

Boris Becker once said when losing:
“I didn’t start a war. Nobody died. I only lost a tennis match, nothing more."
